Capture Protocol Timing Feedback

Empirical Analysis and Proposal for ext-image-copy-capture-v1

Empirical measurement of capture protocol timing across Wayland compositors. The data reveals 1,800x variance in capture latency on a single compositor and 6x cross-compositor divergence under identical conditions. Proposes composable feedback events to enable informed encoding decisions.

Multi-Codec Graphics Pipeline for RDP on Linux

Adaptive Content Encoding via the EGFX Protocol

Examines the RDP Graphics Pipeline Extension (MS-RDPEGFX) as a multi-codec graphics system. Documents how Linux-specific Wayland signals enable content-aware encoding without pixel analysis, and how ClearCodec, H.264, and Progressive codecs serve different content types within single frames.
